SASR

The Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) is a special forces unit of the Australian Army. They are tasked with special operations capabilities in support of the Australian Defence Force, including counterinsurgency, counter terrorism, direct action, long-range reconnaissance, special reconnaissance, unconventional warfare, and hostage rescue.
