RAID

Recherche, Assistance, Intervention, Dissuasion (RAID) is an elite tactical unit of the French National Police. It is a counterpart to GIGN and covers many of the same tasks, such as counterterrorism, hostage rescue, protection of government officials, site protection, resolution of police riots, and surveillance.
